Handcrafted from cherry, hard maple, and African padauk, this cutting board combines warm natural grain with contrasting hardwood accents. The rich red padauk is bordered by thin strips of light maple, creating crisp lines across the cherry without overpowering the character of the wood.
Each board is individually milled, assembled, shaped, sanded, and finished by hand in the CRUXetFABER workshop. The edges are gently rounded for a comfortable feel, while the ¾-inch solid-hardwood construction keeps the board substantial without making it unnecessarily heavy.
Finished with Walrus Oil® Cutting Board Oil (blend of coconut oil, mineral oil, vitamin E and beeswax; FDA approved for food contact), it is made to be used, whether for everyday food preparation, serving bread and charcuterie, or simply left on the counter as a piece of functional craftsmanship.
